MILANO (AIMnews.it) - Leone Film Group closed 2017 with a turnover of 98.6 million euros, 80.3% more than in 2016. Ebitda grew by 13.6% to 26.7 millions euros. The increase in revenues is mainly due to the subsidiary Lotus Production in the area of international executive production, in which it has become the main Italian operator. Compared to the 2017-19 strategic plan, revenues were much higher (forecasts were 61 million), while the ebitda was lower (29.1 million expected), due to the slippage of some cinema releases. Net financial debt, against a figure of € 54.2 million indicated in the business plan, amounted to € 40.8 million (€ 35.7 million at the end of June 2017). "The new strategic plan is being prepared and will be presented to the financial community after its approval" the company says.
