MILAN (AIMnews.it) - DBA Group has won a contract with MIUR for the construction of a digital prototype to support decision making in the Smart City program. The project, with a total value of 7.5 million euros, was awarded a partnership by co-signing with industrial companies (Vitrociset, Dba Lab, IB, Lucana Sistemi) and scientific partners such as Calcolo High Performance (ICAR) of the National Research Council (Cnr) of Naples, the University of Trieste and the Polytechnico of Bari, coordinated by Matteo Apollonio of Dba Lab. The specific objective of the "Asmara" project is to equip the cities/ports of Bari and Cagliari with an ICT support system specialised in the management of the logistic flows of people and vehicles coming from port activities. Dba Lab will have a contribution of 1.8 million euros (0.6 million grants and 1.1 million at a subsidized rate).
