MILANO (AIMnews.it) - Smre increased the value of production by 76% to 19.7 million in 2017. The EBIT rose from 1.1 to 1.7 million (+ 58%), the net result was negative with 445.000 euros (467.000 euros of red one year before). "2017 has been a turning point for the entire group, a milestone that will mark forever and decisively the path of ascent undertaken and the future strategic choices that we will be called upon to take - explained the president and AD Samuele Mazzini - We have in fact moved from a reality that at the beginning of the year consisted of about 50 employees and 2 factories to a group consisting of more than 200 employees, tripling the number of engineers and 9 companies, a real growth linked to expansion policies of external lines, which will certainly continue in the future". The net financial position is negative for € 2.9 million, with equity of € 16.3 million. "Despite the delays that are undergoing the Chinese business due to changes of a regulatory and bureaucratic nature that lead to a general slowdown in orders and deliveries, the closing numbers of the past year are on our side and in support of our work, we have in fact reached + 76% in terms of production value and + 58% in terms of ebitda, all of which can not help but confirm the adequacy of the strategic choices we are making and the solidity of our daily commitment to projects. We therefore confirm our utmost dedication in continuing the process of creating value for the entire group, its people, our communities and our shareholders", concluded Mazzini, and for 2018 the company expects a continuation of the growth and development phase of the Smart Mobility (IET) and Automation divisions, while it aims at consolidating the market in the Telematics sector & Connectivity.
