MILAN (AIMnews.it) - The event "ACCOMPANYING SME'S QUOTING ON AIM - BORSA ITALIANA" took place today at Palazzo della Mercanzia in Bologna. It was organised and conceived by IR Top Consulting with the collaboration of the Consorzio Chamber for Credit and Finance. The meeting is part of a project that aims to support Italian SMEs in a process of growth and financial development. During the Convention IR Top Consulting presented its role as Financial Advisor and the path that companies can take to access the stock market. The companies in Emilia that have the requisites to be listed, in the light of the great potential that the market is offering, will be able to seize a great opportunity thanks to the PIRs and the tax credit. An extraction of the sample showed that the Emilian companies had a turnover in 2016 of between 20 and 100 million euros, a 2014-2016 CAGR of revenues of more than 5% and a net financial position / EBITDA of less than 3%. The characteristics of the sample refer to companies with an average turnover of 34 million euros with a +16% yoy growth of + 6%, an EBITDA margin of 8% and an average cash flow of 2 million euros with industry and food representing the sectors most present. Anna Lambiase, CEO of IR Top Consulting commented: "76% of the companies listed on AIM Italia have a turnover of less than 50 million euros; an equity list dedicated to SMEs makes it possible to exploit the great potential that the stock market can offer, thanks to the PIRs and the tax credit. These are the reasons that led us to be present in a region that represents the second largest on AIM Italy for the number of listed companies (11%) to accompany them in the listing process on AIM. Over 300 companies with the requisites of quotability represent a highly distinctive factor for Emilia Romagna, which proves to be a region where excellence and entrepreneurial innovation play a fundamental role in the business of SMEs". During the event, Giorgio Tabellini, President of the Chamber of Commerce of Bologna, Anna Lambiase, CEO of IR TOP Consulting and PMI CAPITAL spoke on the topic: "The AIM market in light of the PIRs and the tax incentives for listing" and Floriana Vitale, Senior Manager of IR TOP Consulting on the "Listing process and the role of the Financial Advisor". To end the event the testimonies of two companies listed on AIM: Expert System and Kolinpharma that outlined the aspects and benefits associated with the listing. To date, AIM Italia is composed of 98 companies with a capital of € 6.4 billion, with total capital inflows (from IPO and secondary) of € 3.7 billion, and an IPO free float equal to 23%. After Lombardy (50%), Emilia Romagna is the region most present on AIM, in terms of number of companies (11%), with a total capital of Euro 1 billion (16% of the market) and a total collection of 92 million.
