MILAN (AIMnews.it) - The Board of Directors of Energica Motor Company has approved the Group's half-yearly financial report as at 30 June 2019. Turnover, equal to Euro 1.8 million, increased by 57% compared to 30 June 2018, thanks both to the growing visibility obtained through the participation in MotoE as a single manufacturer, and to the expansion of the sales network in the world. EBITDA was negative for Euro 3.2 million (negative for Euro 3.02 million as at 30 June 2018). The Net Financial Position was positive for Euro 2.8 million (negative for Euro 1.4 million as at 31 December 2018).

 

Livia Cevolini, CEO of Energica Motor Company, commented: “Thanks to the great work and significant investments important for our development, the results of the first half of 2019 confirm that Energica Motor Company is among the leaders of the EV market with a turnover up by over 57% compared to the first half of 2019 and that at the current date, exceeds the turnover for the entire 2018. It is a result that we consider very positive also in view of the consequences of the Jerez events that led to the delay in the start of the MotoE competition. The start of the first MotoE championship took place thanks to our technical team, partners and suppliers that allowed us to restore the entire motorbike fleet in record time and guarantee the programming of the competition, guaranteeing an international visibility of millions of users".
