The new Energica authorized dealer for the Paris area is Mot'elec by Olivier Moussard, who declares: "We are specialists in the sale of electric motorcycles since 2014; this market segment is booming and we believe that Energica motorcycles have a huge potential ". Mot'elec will operate in the Ile de France region as a sub-dealer of Tendance Roadster, official Energica dealer from 2017. France, in the first 9 months of 2019, established itself as the second European market for registrations of electric motorcycles, up 67% compared to the same period of 2018 (1,895 vs. 1,137 units, source ACEM). The country has a network of almost 25,000 charging points as of January 1, 2019; the growth prospects for 2020 are between 15% and 20%; over 73% of the new charging points will be fast charges.
