Lambiase (IR Top): "IPO SME competitiveness factor"

MILAN (AIMnews.it) - The SMEs of the North East look with growing interest to AIM Italy. The productive fabric of the macro-region is in transformation and is increasingly focusing on instruments such as PIR and minibonds to finance growth. Piazza Affari, however, confirms itself as the road for the most ambitious SMEs, thanks to the opportunities offered by the AIM price list. As highlighted in a recent article Il Corriere del Veneto: in 2013, five years after its birth, the companies traded at AIM were 36, at the end of 2019 they were 133. Among these, eleven are from Veneto and two from Friuli. And five are the new entries of 2019, among them there is Gibus. Moreover, out of the 834 companies scattered from Bolzano to Palermo belonging to the Elite program, 114 are from Triveneto.   But, in concrete terms, what are the advantages of the listing? "There is no doubt about it: the main spring that pushes the market is the desire to grow. All the more so for small and medium-sized companies," explains Anna Lambiase, CEO of IR Top Consulting. "However, there are other extremely important aspects. Meanwhile, the discipline factor. Having audited financial statements, keeping accounting records in order, complying with transparency standards - all of this is part and parcel of a company's maturity. Finally, the listing offers clear benefits in terms of visibility: in some ways it is a trump card to spend on suppliers and customers, especially at an international level. Conclusion: the listing makes the company stronger and more competitive".
