Lambiase (IR Top): "2019 AIM record, 2020 up with PIR and tax credit"

MILAN (AIMnews.it) - In 2019 AIM Italia is the first European MTF by number of IPO (31) . The quotations are equal to 35, with an increase of 13% on the previous year. To push the SMEs towards Piazza Affari were the tax credit on the quotation costs and the greater liquidity to support the growth of the SMEs. This is what emerges from the findings of IR Top Consulting relating to the AIM Italia market in 2019. Anna Lambiase, founder and CEO of IR Top Consulting, comments: "The year 2019 marked a new record for the AIM Italia market with 35 new quotations, of which 31 IPOs and 4 post-business combination admissions and 207 million euros in funding that make it the first European financial hub for the number of new companies listed among the unregulated markets. We were honored to have worked with the Government on the tax credit for SMEs and we believe that thanks to the amendment on RIPs promoted by the Finance Committee, the whole market will be able to benefit from the new conditions aimed at directing private savings in the real economy and specifically towards SMEs, which are the foundations of the Italian industrial system. The average cut in AIM operations in 2019 reached €6 million in capital raising, with companies with an average turnover of €21 million. The regions that have contributed most to the new placements are Lombardy with 26%, Emilia Romagna with 19% and Veneto with 6%. For 2020 we estimate a growth in IPOs with SMEs that will still be able to benefit from the Tax Credit on listing costs, with a measure allocated by the Government equal to 30 million Euros: technology and lifestyle are our pipeline sectors that will see us as financial advisor in the process of flanking the listing of companies that saw us support 22% of the listings on AIM Italia in 2019 with a collection of 42 million Euros".
